Hello to all seafood lovers! This is KAITO-MARU which is a fishing vessel at Echizen coast, Fukui pref. The Echizen coast is a rich fishing ground, nourished by phytoplankton carried by the Kuzuryu River, which is fed by the Japanese traditional holy Hakusan mountain range. We are supplying seasonal local fish, mainly "KIJIHATA"or Hong-Kong grouper (Epinephelus akaara). Please enjoy the best quality of KIJIHATA grouper in Japan!

NIWA Kenji has public officer and diplomat carrier for twenty years in overseas. However the pandemic made him do a one-hundred and push to change his life-style. In 2020, he moved in a small fishing village beside the coast of Sea of Japan and launched own business as a fisherman.
